However, I did not really get very concerned until I found that I had become self-conscious. I started to notice other changes as well. I had to start buying larger sized clothing.
I started to think of different things that I could do to change and thought if I bought a videotape with a six pack ab exercise program I would become more active and when I started my first exercise regimen I noticed I noticed that I was getting thinner. I did not think it was a big problem. But the truth was I was still very overweight.
Emotionally, I was beginning to experience a lot of difficulties because of the issue. It was time for me to address the problem that was staring at me and find a way to get rid of the fat. I was not ready to try on of the fad diet programs. Even though I had read a lot about the available surgeries, they were not the way I wanted to go and I knew one of those plans that told me I could lose weight fasting was not the solution that I was looking for.
It took time and effort but I lost the weight. The key to my success was to get rid of most of my bad habits and replace them with good habits. I also started getting regular physical activity. I took it easy working out in the beginning. Eventually it grew into a lot more. The pounds came off my body because I put in the work. I did not let anything stop me from losing the weight I no longer wanted. You can not replace the commitment with anything else.
