What exactly is a reiki attunement? You will become connected with the source energy of creation through an attunement.

Reiki (spoken: Ree-Kii) is the expression for the universal life energy, and comes from Japanese.

The truth is that reiki is a ancient cure. It was known way back, in the old Sanskrit Sutras. That was about 2500 years ago. It was rediscovered once more by Mikao Usui. When you give Reiki to yourself or to others, you gently lay your hand on, or slightly above the body. The giver, or the one who provides the reiki-energy, is the channel for the energy. So through the hand this energy is given to who ever is receiving it.

On a physical level reiki works well, and is relaxing and pleasant. It works on the emotional level too, and it creates confidence. It assist you to feel balanced and more alive. And, finally, it helps you to deal with everyday stress better as it works on the mental level too.

You will normally have to learn anywhere between one to four degrees of reiki. To initiate you into the energy each degree probably comes with an attunement.

First Degree

•Basic knowledge about reiki, and basic hands-on healing method.
•Be taught about Aura and Chakra.
•Initiation into reiki by means of “attunements” you will become a reiki channel.
•From this time on, reiki energy will flow through your hands. YOU are now a reiki practitioner (healer).
